If in food industry, we usually say "from farm to table" but in silver jewelry field, but in silver jewelry field, from customer wish to finished jewelry, the most important step that discriminate between competitor is wax molding technology.
Why this step is the heart of silver jewelry manufacturing? Because it can show how much potential to serve any difficult task from customer, both at speed and delicate design. And the tool to accomplish this cannot be anything else but "Wax Molding Machine".
And why wax? Because we use as the fine template for building up the big cement mold to use with melt silver filling machine in the next step (you can see full process in our introduction clip in "About Us" page.)
When come up with wax molding technology, we can classify in 3 era of silver jewelry production. At first, we use the "Solid wax carving machine" that use solid wax block to be carved with the needle in the form of jewelry. This machine has main disadvantage in low variety design, cannot use with difficult design especially the detail in the back inside of jewelry (where the needle cannot get through eg., the carve the name inside of the ring) beside of its slow process and inaccuracy.
Next, we have more hi-tech machine, "Wax-Spray molding machine", that use the liquid wax to spray on the base to form the wax mold. Liquid wax we used has two kinds, red and green, to be sprayed simultaneously. The red wax is used for base support the green mold during spraying, and will be washed away with warm water. Even the accuracy especially for the delicate detail, this machine still use few days to form only one mold.
So our latest technology, "the laser wax-molding machine", that use laser to cut the wax gel. This kind of special wax is soft when cut with laser, but can be harden when go through infrared oven. This most hi-tech machine can form few molds simultaneously within few hours!
